Project Narrative
Through the use of storytelling and visual narratives, our firm helped Galen College of Nursing—one of America’s largest private colleges of nursing—to distinguish themselves in the world of nursing education. Experiential graphics used throughout Galen’s Louisville campus and company headquarters support the overall dynamic Galen brand while celebrating their regional location. We helped Galen adopt the idea of a living brand—one that is an active reflection of their faculty, staff, and students—and implemented this concept in the Louisville campus graphics as well as in other communications.
A collection of consistent visual assets are leveraged on the campus, including an interactive “Why Wall,” inspirational quotes, iCare values, their “pure” motto, and their iconic lamp icon. Unique to the Louisville campus is the overall use of a more saturated color palette, motivating and encouraging phrases placed outside learning and simulation labs, and the use of the Louisville skyline near a classroom and community events space—promoting Galen’s support of the local community.
