Project Narrative

At the heart of Green Township’s vision is a commitment to protect and serve with integrity, professionalism, and community partnership. That vision drove the design and delivery of the new Green Township Police Station, a purpose built facility that strengthens the foundation of public safety while fostering greater connection with the community.
Our team partnered with the township to advance a bold, phased redevelopment plan that modernizes civic operations and creates long-term solutions for public safety, administration, and community services. The first phase centered on delivering a state-of-the-art police facility strategically located across from the existing government center. This new facility was designed to meet the evolving needs of the Green Township Police Department while providing flexible, functional, and sustainable spaces that support both officers and residents. The police station integrates dedicated areas for administration, investigations, and patrol, ensuring operational efficiency and enhanced coordination. Specialized spaces such as a temporary holding facility, interview rooms, evidence processing, and high-density storage—equip the department with the tools required to serve with professionalism and accountability. A large training room, designed to double as community meeting space, reinforces the department’s mission to engage and partner with residents through education, dialogue, and shared purpose. Sustainability and innovation were also central to the scope of services. The inclusion of solar canopies not only generates renewable power for the facility but also provides protection for police vehicles, aligning with the township’s forward-thinking approach to stewardship and resource management. By moving police operations into this new facility, the township created the opportunity to redevelop the government center site. This strategic consolidation will strengthen interdepartmental collaboration, improve service delivery, and create a welcoming civic campus that reflects Green Township’s values of integrity, accessibility, and trust. Our scope extended beyond architecture to encompass a vision for how civic facilities can elevate public safety, enhance community trust, and prepare for the township’s long-term growth. The result is more than a building—it is an investment in Green Township’s future. The new police station provides the department with the resources and environment needed to serve residents with dignity, efficiency, and compassion, while offering the community a safe, modern, and accessible hub for engagement. This project represents the alignment of mission and design: empowering the Green Township Police Department to carry out its pledge to protect, serve, and partner with the community—today and for generations to come.
