Montgomery Quarter is an exciting $100M mixed-use development where urban meets suburban development. The project seeks to create new and exciting economic development opportunities for the City of Montgomery’s future by creating a landmark project at the Southern Gateway of the Historic Downtown. By building on the great history of Montgomery, the design team brought together “village” scale community planning with the city’s needs and goals, and the community’s input together with innovation and development experience to create the most productive plan for the community.
The design team provided architecture, interior design, engineering for all the commercial buildings in the project, including two office buildings (110,000 SF) and retail space with restaurants (20,000 SF). The design team also provided planning and concept design services for two parking garages on the site with approximately 550 total spaces and a hotel with 100 rooms and banquet space.
The site was one of the most coveted redevelopment sites in the region and feature a unique blend of urban/suburban design that will include professional office, boutique hotel, luxury condominiums and an exciting restaurant row built around a
new community green. In addition to bringing new retail, commercial and housing opportunities to Montgomery, the project is expected to increase safety with the installation of a multi-lane roundabout to replace the existing bridge on Montgomery Road, which currently crosses over Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway.
