The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) tasked our firm with several projects to enhance their Main Street Corridor—a strip of employee-focused amenities and workspaces inside their global headquarters in Cincinnati, OH. To further support this initiative, P&G required an employee-focused space that puts employee needs first.
In collaboration with P&G, we designed “The Hub,” an easily accessible employee care area that features a concierge, lounge, genius bar, tech room, and learning academy. Whether employees need assistance with their technology, or international guests require concierge services, employees can find it in this light-filled lounge. The service bar is universally designed and includes curved countertops at different heights, creating a comfortable experience for every guest. A promotions area is located across the hall with additional seating and monitors for brand messaging.
This inviting sanctuary features banquette-style seating for comfort, large windows for natural light, and wireless charging stations for ease-of-use. Exposed concrete floors and solid surface countertops reinforce a modern design, while various furniture layouts allow many interactions. Typography is integrated into an architectural wood slat feature that identifies the space, elevating it into a piece of art. The wall behind the banquette seating became a canvas for “a modern take on P&G heritage.”
Employees can head to The Hub to mingle, meet with IT, or simply relax—all in one place.
